‘Worm Day’ is the latest single from Mother Tongues, a Toronto-based duo made up of Lukas Cheung and Charise Aragoza. The track opens with bright, hazy guitar arpeggios that bounce off of subtle synth chords and a punchy drum groove. The texture drops, allowing Aragoza to step in as front person, with a calm, relaxed vocal delivery guiding us through a variety of memorable hooks, including that ethereal, harmonious chorus. The track is the second to come from their debut album, Love In A Viscious Way, which drops in July via Wavy Haze. -Dan Peeke
